I agree with the statement that music can have an effect on emotions.
Everyone has listened to or will listen to music that makes them feel
sad, happy, or angry. Also, someone's emotions can affect the music they
listen to. Sometimes, people will listen to sad music if they are sad
or having a bad day; if they feel good, they will listen to happy music.
Emotions and music tie together, and each one will effect the other.
Through this entry I was able to learn about the way music and emotions tie together in order to choose the type of music that you want to listen to in that moment. I would like to know if there have been any studies made on this topic of if this was just a personal opinion. In this entry i felt like you did a good job of making that comparison I would only suggest for you to add in some backup information to show that you have facts that relate to what you are stating. One question that you may want to ask is with what moods do people choose different types of music other than just happy and sad for instence what if they have just broken up with their boyfriend or girlfriend will they listen to break up songs all day, that type pf question for example.
ReplyDeleteI loved the way you went into detail about the emotions that go into play when choosing what specific genre of music you're going to be listening to. I agree with Kalin in saying it would have been nice if you mentioned there being studies on this to back up your opinions and make it more believable or scientific than just an opinion. Something you could cover in this section would be if you start with a certain emotion then listen to a specific genre, if your emotions can change without acknowledgment and if so how that may work! Overall, you did good at getting the idea across to the reader.
